For The Music presents to you its first Day Festival. Bringing you 10 amazing performances from East London's brightest emerging talents.
Held at Crate St James Street E17 from 12pm with food, craft beer and local businesses on site.
PaigeyCakey is an East London based rapper who is really emerging as an essential singing and rapping voice on the scene. Influenced by her Caribbean father and British mother, as well as the music that she heard coming over from the States, she is someone who always has a story to tell and does so with a real sense of fun and feistiness.

The League of Rebels (T.L.R) - an East London band formed by 5 brothers, the youngest being 11! They're a "Roots Rock Reggae" created in 2009.
T.L.R play several instruments each from drums to bass, keyboards to piano, producing their own music and original lyrics.

You might not expect soulful RnB to emerge from the Hertfordshire countryside, but that is exactly what on-the-rise artist & songwriter James Robb is all about. Driven by a rich soulful voice, Robb captivates with an innate sense of rhythm and melody.
He appeared on the voice and made it to the battle stages of the competition.

TeshayMakeda fuses Reggae, Soul and RnB to create her own dynamic genre dubbed ’Roots Soul'. Raised in South London, and influenced by her Rastafarian upbringing, TeshayMakeda uses her music to spread messages of divinity and higher power.

A Hertfordshire born singer/songwriter/Producer who has self-released his critically acclaimed album 'ElectrickSoul' and is currently on a UK and German tour singing lead with 70's legends Heatwave, 60's Pop Phenoms The Equals and playing regular 'ElectrickSoul' shows in London and across the UK.
DECOSTA BOYCE
Young and talented UK-based singer-songwriter Laurie has captivated the audience with her unique and ethereal rhythms through her exceptional soundscape. Her latest single, ‘To Say I Love U’ is a feel-good dance music number with a prominent touch of blissful synth. There is an amazing serenity in her voice that casts a spell over the audience penetrating their thoughts.

James Nic, a 22-year-old RnB/Pop artist originating from North London. Developed a passion for music at a young age, he attended prestigious schools, such as The Brit School and had the privilege of writing and recording at TileyardStudios.

V9 Collective are a family collective and their music can best be described as a fusion of old school funk and new school soul, with sweet gospel vocals. "World to Me" their first album opened doors for them to perform on numerous stages across the U.K and Europe.

I Know I Know is the brainchild of prodigious multi-instrumentalist/producer Tommy Hill. Creating infectious, hook-laden tracks, marrying a natural songwriting instinct with left-of-centre production (citing FKA Twigs as an influence) early recordings have seen him hotly-tipped by Metro, championed by BBC Introducing In The South, and featured in Spotify editorials including New Music Friday.
